Product Features

The product is subject to CSA Z245.20-2022 standard, which is a double epoxy  anticorrosive powder coating with rapid curing and excellent performance. There are two powder coatings with bottom and surface coating. The coating is a composite coating composed of bottom anticorrosive coating (FBE) of primary film and ARO protection. Suitable for the external anticorrosion of steel pipes and components, the working temperature and environment are-30℃~80℃ buried or underwater environment. High membrane crosslinking density, strong adhesion, to prevent the corrosion of soil, hydrocarbons, acid and alkali salts, microorganisms, waste water, seawater, with good coverage and anti-corrosion resistance. It is widely used in harsh environment and mountains, rivers, urban areas through pipelines.

Application scope and characteristics

1.External corrosion prevention of steel pipes, pipe fittings, components, etc.

2.Compared with other types of coatings, environmental protection, easy to thick coating, good adhesion, with excellent cathode stripping ,anti-corrosion properties and mechanical damage resistance.

3.It has wide application range, and wide operating temperature range (-30℃ ~80℃).The broken areas are easy to repair.

Method and dosage

1.Coating method: Electrostatic spraying,thermal spraying, fluidized bed coating.
2.Theoretical dosage: 150g / m2/ 100 μ m. First Layer,≥250μm,the AROthickness shall be agreed upon between the manufacturer and the purchaser.
3.Surface treatment: Sandblasting or Pelblasting.
4.Curing instructions:The powder coating is applied on the surface of 180~230℃ preheated workpiece,powder coating according to the bottom and surface (provided by the same manufacturer, with obvious color difference) sequential spraying, primary film, cured by waste heat, and generally does not need later heating. If the ambient temperature is very low or the heat capacity of the workpiece is insufficient, additional heating and curing is required.

Construction technology and repair technology references 

1. Sandblasting or shot blasting to Sa2.5 level, anchor pattern depth 40~110μm, surface dust removal to near white leve.

2. Clean the dust and abrasives on the surface of the steel pipe.
3.The salt content on the steel pipe surface should not exceed 20mg/m2.
4.The treated steel pipe should be protected from moisture and secondary pollution, and should be coated within 4 hours. If it exceeds 4 hours or rust or surface pollution occurs, it should be re-treated.
5.Workpiece preheating is generally controlled at 180~230°C , and must not exceed 275°C.
6.Apply the powder on the surface of the workpiece to adjust the required thickness.
7.After complete curing, the test shall be conducted when the workpiece drops below 95℃.
8.the leakage point repair, can be repaired with the company's two-component solvent-free liquid epoxy paint.

Safety, packaging, storage and transportation

1.This product is non-toxic, non-polluting and non-flammable, but measures should be taken to prevent large amounts of inhalation during operation.

2.Packing: Carton outer packing, lined with polyethylene bag, net weight 25±0.2kg.
3.Storage method: Store under dry, ventilated and clean conditions below 35°C, and keep away from fire and heating. After all packages are opened for use, the unused portion must be resealed to prevent moisture absorption from the air.
4.Warranty period: 12 months below 35°C.
5.Transportation: Avoid direct sunlight and rain. When the temperature is higher than 35°C, corresponding cooling measures should be taken.
